Burst pipes, failed flexi hoses and sewage coming back up. Answered around the clock in Coogee, and we will get the water off before anybody sets off.
Emergency call-outsGas, electric, heat pump and solar. Because Sydney water is soft, what finishes a tank here is a spent anode or a dead element, and both of those are frequently repairs.
Hot water repairsCooktops, heaters and gas lines put in, pressure tested and certified in the one visit, with the certificate in your hand before we go.
Licensed gas fittingDripping taps, hidden leaks and burst pipes found with equipment rather than by opening walls and hoping. Located first, opened once.
Burst pipes & leak repairsToilets, vanities and tapware fitted in a single visit, and where a renovation has moved a fixture, we check what it was actually connected to.
Book a fit-offBlocked or slow, cleared and filmed. And if a renovation moved a fixture, a dye test proves which of the two systems it now discharges into. Start with our guide to what to try on a blocked toilet.
Drain clearingHardly anybody in this trade publishes a number. These are 2026 Sydney entry figures, here so every quote you get has something to be judged against, ours included. That covers the van at the door and the trade's hourly rate. Job-by-job figures are on each service page.
Zero on anything booked through this site. Find us another way and the usual Sydney attendance charge applies, generally near the top of that range.
The business-hours market rate, and the figure most quotes are quietly assembled from. We do not price that way, and the reason is directly under these cards.
What the trade loads onto nights, weekends and public holidays. We load nothing, because the job figure is locked before anybody leaves.
One agreed figure to make a burst safe, clear a line or isolate a gas fault, instead of a clock that starts when the van parks.
Written down before work starts. If what we uncover changes the job, nothing goes ahead until you have approved the new figure.
Those middle two cards are the market's rates rather than ours, and they sit there for comparison. Charging by the hour sells you somebody's afternoon instead of a solved problem, and it tells you nothing at the point you have to say yes. We price the job, not the hours, so the number you approve is the number you settle. Where proving a connection is the honest first step, that is quoted as its own small piece of work rather than buried in something bigger. Where you already know what you need, the real figures live on the blocked drains, pipe relining, burst pipes and leaks, hot water and gas fitting pages.
Anyone can call themselves a plumber. A licensed one carries a NSW licence number, real insurance, and the legal accountability that comes with both, so when a gas job is certified or a repair signed off, it actually means something.
Licensed in NSW, fully insured, and working these streets constantly. Everything to the Australian Standards, with a lifetime workmanship warranty in writing.

Renovated, added a bathroom, or moved a laundry? A dye test proves where it drains to. It takes an afternoon and it is the one thing nobody checks. Meet the crew behind every Coogee callout.

Great job by Chris Jr, attended our site quickly and had the issue resolved asap.
Chris Jr did a great job on repairing the taps in the shower. Went above and beyond with the landlord to ensure he explained things correctly. Very happy with the outcome.

1Tell us what is happening, and whether the place has been renovated. Real person, no phone maze.
2A licensed plumber leaves with the figure already fixed.
3Sorted properly first time, and the place left as we found it.
4With a written lifetime workmanship warranty behind it.
There are two entirely separate systems under these streets. The sewer takes wastewater away to be treated. Stormwater takes rainwater, untreated, to the nearest waterway. They are not joined and they are not supposed to be. In a beachside suburb where Coogee Beach is a Beachwatch-monitored swimming site, which of those two a fixture is plumbed into is worth more than a shrug, and the honest news is that nobody can tell from inside the house. Across the eastern suburbs, a licensed local plumber is only minutes away, same-day and 24/7 for genuine emergencies.

Still have a question?
Sydney generally runs $100 to $150 an hour and it predicts nothing about your job. We fix one figure for the whole thing beforehand, so a quick morning and a difficult one both come to the number you agreed.
On something genuinely urgent we aim to be at the door inside the hour, right across Coogee and the beaches either side, whatever the day and whatever the time.
Whatever attendance or after-hours figure applies gets said on the phone before the van moves. Booked here, there is nothing to say.
NSW Licence 368473C. The Fair Trading register will confirm it inside a minute, and that minute is worth spending on anybody you let onto the property. Unlicensed plumbing is illegal in NSW and will void a home insurance claim. Ours prints on every quote.
Soft water is the answer. In hard-water places a tank silts up and that is that. Sydney's supply is not like that, so instead the sacrificial anode gets consumed protecting the steel, the tank starts to corrode once it has gone, or an element burns out. Neither of those is automatically a new unit.
It is a fixture plumbed into the wrong one of the two underground systems. Wastewater going into the stormwater line, which discharges untreated, or stormwater going into the sewer, which loads it in heavy rain. The reason it matters here is that stormwater in a beachside suburb has a short trip to somewhere people swim. The reason nobody finds it is that from inside the house there is nothing to find: everything drains, nothing backs up, no smell, no slow fixture. The property works perfectly and the connection is still wrong.
Coogee has been a swimming suburb for a very long time. Wylie's Baths opened in 1907, cut into the rock platform, and the Coogee Pier opened in 1928 with a theatre and a ballroom on it before being demolished in 1934, six years later. The practical point for plumbing is simply that people have been getting in the water here for well over a century, which is why what goes into a stormwater line is worth checking.
Almost always during work rather than at original construction. A second bathroom, a relocated laundry, a granny flat, a new downpipe. Someone finds an existing line in the right place, it takes the flow perfectly well, and the job is finished. Nothing about the result looks wrong afterwards, which is exactly the problem. If any of that has happened at your place and nobody proved the connection at the time, it is worth an afternoon.
The whole Coogee LGA and every suburb around it: Bronte, Clovelly, Maroubra, South Coogee, Waverley, Bronte, Clovelly, Clovelly and more.
Hot water is what brings us out more than anything else here, and this is the gear behind it. Electric storage in a lot of the older stock, gas wherever a property is connected for it, and continuous flow anywhere a cylinder had to come off the floor. Repairing and replacing hot water systems is most of what we do here, and we are straight about what each job costs and the age at which a unit stops being worth fixing.

We service and replace these systems as an independent licensed plumber. We are not an agent for, or endorsed by, any of these manufacturers.
Leave a number and a plumber will ring you back, usually within a few minutes in business hours.
